Are you going to review the 2024 refresh Nobby?

Was enjoying this video until Nobby just had to go and let us know "there is an EV version". Jeez, you just can't get away from the duracell option. I hired an Opel Movano recently to help a friend move house and the handbrake in it left a lot to be desired, as in you'd nearly dislocate your right shoulder leaning down to release it. You need a four foot long arm to make sure it's properly disengaged. Stupid design. While the van had parking sensors (which was a first in all the vans I've hired), they only seemed to activate if you were practically on top of what you were reversing against. Why don't they have rear view cameras???

Hi i live in france and have the spring since two years its fantastic once you get used to the range limit its actually fun .The range in miles is about 120 - 150 dépends how you drive its not à sports car so 150 miles is double with careful use of the accelerater. On holidays we do about 400 to 500 miles with à full charge before we leave we normally chargé twice on the way adding about 2 ' 2 1/2 hours to the trip ofcourse we need to charge on arrival it does not takeaway from the holiday bob

Hi Nobby the middle Nobby in between the heated seats and climate controls if swiped turns into a volume dial...see other videos. 👍🏻 So much tech now days it's impossible to keep up. Great video as usual.... It's a strong contender for our new car as they don't make VW Passat estate r-line. 😭

Nissan mechanics don't want to work on these vehicles. My Leaf had a short. Mechanic couldn't find the problem. $1600 to start diagnosing. No way, I'm out. Nissan stinks.

EV database real world range figures :- Highway warm weather 145 miles. Highway cold weather 110 miles. That is when the car is brand new. A lithium ion battery degrades with time and use cycles. My EV has lost 42% capacity in just over 8 years and 40 k miles and this car's battery will also degrade. I will never touch an EV ever again. They are just not fit for purpose.

Ford knew perfectly well they were being handed down outdated / annoying features from the ID4. It was cheaper for them without going to the expense of redesigning them. I can envisage old Henry looking down in disbelief at this piece of rubbish… that his great grandson, Jim Farley & Martin Sander (who was in charge of this clone & has now left Ford and gone to VW…) think is the future of Ford… The day when some faceless bureaucrats decide to change the legendary and iconic Ford emblem, will be the end of Ford

Its 3 years later - I am in market for a 2022 Raptor (as above) or a 3l v6 Amarok (also 2022). I never tow, don't do much real 4x4 climbing etc - do drive gravel road and dirt tracks for work. What would you buy? Please - the decision is killing me.

Nobby, I am wondering what's your opinion about build quality in these Cupras's? Might sound stupid comparison, but we own 21' Octavia and 23' manual diesel Formentor. I find Octavia much better quality materials and built quality. Ps I remember 310hp Formentor was 77 000e and I had to ask guy what type of drugs are they using😂 Almost 80k for Cupra.

Hope we get this in Australia - I am sure it will be a 6 speed auto. Current car is a C4 Cactus 1.2l Puretech petrol with 6 speed auto - performs really well. It has been a great car. The new C3 attracts me with its styling and Progressive Hydraulic Cushion suspension.

That dashboard is a disaster. Looks cheap and tacky, Awful, awful design language.

If it’s anything like my babied Golf it will be shit. High pressure fuel pump at 40,000 km. New DSG $5000 at 70,000 km. Water leak into carpet. Leaking through speaker. Strip interior twice $1600. Unfortunately it’s brilliant to drive.

I've got one identical to this coming in a couple of weeks, except in black. I currently have a 3008 Allure Premium with the same powertrain. I've had it 3 years, and the 408 is going to save me £50 a month on my lease. Bargain!!! £248 a month

Everybody I inow with a Leaf ate very happy with it. I just rode on Leafs as a TVDE client and i was imoressed. Very quiet. Spacious enough. High quality materials. Good ergonomics etc. As a matter of comparison, I have also rode in the e-C4 (much lighter inside and even more comfortable but not so good materials...they are ok, just not excellent) and the Tesla 3. The Tesla is in my opinion the worse of the 3. To harsh of a ride, worst ergonomics, not enough space, horrible plastics that aged badly and bad fit and finish. I like this one but... I pretty only drive on motorways for distances of around 380km so, this is still not for me.

I fail to see why car manufacturers are removing buttons in favour of touch screens which are impossible to keep clean. Lovely car but the price is not nice and puts it against some serious competition. It would be hard to avoid penalty points.

For me goes like this, best hybrid tech with a few but impactful details you won’t find in another car, for those two you have to pay the price. Also blame eu for import taxes from Japan 🇯🇵

Based on the VW ID platform...which has been very unreliable with tons of bugs, glitches and even customers mentioning they couldn't drive alltogether. Imagine paying a ton of money for a brand new vehicle and your entire interface just crashes and shuts off lol. It's hot garbage, stay the hell away

I’ve had several Mercedes Diesels and loved them except for the last one (Bluetec). At least in the USA diesels have no advantage. Diesel fuel is as expensive as 5 star octane fuel and my 2019 E300 turbo 4 gets 32 mpg in the city and 40 on the highway. Once you throw in the extra maintenance and repairs for a diesel they end up costing more than a petrol engined car.

Been driving the last gen models for 6 years. These are fabulous family cars. I think it looks fine, but the exterior isnt necessarily more pleasing to look at over the last gen. It's like its trying to mimic the prevailing ev esthetic set by Kia and the likes. The interior looks good though. The loss of isofix in the middle seat is a bigger oversight than they probably realise, but if it can still fit three child seats accross its managable for bigger families with an older child. The ev options are the big draw here, but its arriving right at a time where there's great scepticism. I'd love to know how the weight will affect the drive suspension and handling, and price and insurance costs will be a big factor.

The rear leg room isn't tight, it's non-existant! We couldnt' even fit a brithday gfit behind our passenger seat! Don't forget the feature features though, the bings and bongs will make sure to remind you you're not in a premium interior - it's all plastics, don't pretent it's not. It's not even close to other volvos. The performance model, with two motors, will not feel much different from your 2011 xc60, it's still as slow as your ICE-engine - unless you put it into performance mode. In performance mode, it might be somewhat close to other EVs - but you have to activate this every time you get in it!

No one needs a sunroof. No one needs assisted boot closure. They are a waste of money and just add weight.

So.....Nobby......the updated model will be out later this year (with the new nose and upgraded tech)........it's going to be available with the 2.0tdi 150ps and 7s DSG. I lap the country daily........and I like to "drive".......would the daysil in this car be a good combo for me ????? I know this is an older video.......I'm just dong my research.
